About Us

Help Coimbatore Heal

We are a student-run initiative based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, that seeks to undertake COVID relief and aid operations in and around the district.

The COVID pandemic has ravaged India over the last year and has shown no signs of slowing down. It has left us all in a state of disarray, with people unable to access essential resources - oxygen, medication, critical care - or worse, uninformed about where to start looking.

It immediately became evident that directing people towards verified resources was the need of the hour. Thus, Coimbatore COVID Aid was created to direct people who live in and around Coimbatore, to quintessential COVID resources.

Informational posts about COVID, with the help of a team of medical professionals, to disseminate correct information regarding COVID. We post in both Tamil and English on our social media handles.

Help Tiruppur Breathe.
An initiative to help neighbouring districts

A fundraiser to procure and donate oxygen cylinders to the Government Hospital Pool of Tiruppur District.

Connects quarantined individuals and families with those willing to provide food for the required time.

A couple of weeks back I needed an injection in the state of Tamil Nadu for somebody I knew. I contacted Coimbatore COVID Aid (CCA), who were able to very quickly and effectively provide me with the contact of several pharmacists who were able to provide the Tocilizumab injection in time. On another occasion, CCA helped a friend of mine get admitted in a hospital in Delhi NCR. Not only is CCA doing a great job in fighting COVID in TN, but is playing a special role in beating COVID nationally and CCA is saving lives everyday. I congratulate them for their efforts.
