Vaccination Camps

We successfully organised our first vaccination camp at Koundampalayam, Coimbatore, in collaboration with the Community Organisation for Oppressed and Depressed Upliftment (COODU), on July 6th 2021.

The free vaccination camp for the general public was organised with the support of The Department of Health and Family Welfare, Tamil Nadu and KGM Hospitals, a private hospital chain in Coimbatore.

“The beneficiaries included over 250 individuals from marginalised sections of Koundampalayam, Coimbatore aged 18 and above, most of whom received their first dose.”

The Help Desk

We recognised that although many resources are available, albeit scarcely, most people are unsure of where or how to look for them. This includes beds and medicines, but also ambulances, COVID test centres, vaccination centres etc.. Our information comes directly from a team of four medical professionals, working with COVID patients and social media posts are curated in both English and Tamil.
